Description: Trail: North Sylamore Creek Trail — section running from Gunner Pool Recreation Area trail head to Barkshed Recreation Area. For those who have never hiked the North Sylamore Creek Trail, it is one of the most scenic trails in Arkansas. Hopefully, most of the leaves will be off, and
our views will be unobstructed. All ages are welcome, so we hope to see you there!

Distance of hike: 4 miles

Difficulty of hike: moderate due to elevation gains and losses.

Meeting Time: 9:30 a.m.

Meeting place: Barkshed Recreation Area picnic pavilion.
Directions to Barkshed Recreation Area can be found on the Barkshed Recreation Area website. FYI: What the website says is Forest Service Road 1115 is Cartwright Rd., and what it says is Forest Service Road 1112 is Tie Ridge Rd.

Plan: From Barkshed we will shuttle over to Gunner Pool Recreation Area trail head where our hike will commence.
