Location: Hare Mountain on OHT
Description: Rain or shine (or snow or hail or………). Hike in from either Morgan Field (shorter, but steeper, ’bout 2 miles) or Cherry Bend trail heads. Show up any time Saturday, visit, eat (pot luck, bring anything to share with your fellow hikers), and hang out at the campfire. Most people camp overnight but you could hike back to the trail head. On Sunday we pack up & go home. Bring your children, grandchildren & anyone interested in trying out backpacking.
