Description: OHTA helps CURE SEARCH ULTIMATE HIKERS
December 7 will mark the OHTA’s third charity ULTMATE HIKE to help raise money to treat kids with cancer with CureSearch Foundation. Ultimate Hikers in last year’s event raised $30,000 for kid’s cancer programs. This year’s Ultimate Hikers will be from Tulsa and Kansas City.
The Ultimate Hike will be conducted on the OHT between Fane Creek and Hurricane Creek (MM 31.6 to MM 11.2). Segments hiked will be Fane Creek to Ragtown Road; Ragtown Road to Shores Lake Road; Shores Lake Road to the ‘Gas Pipeline’; and on to Hurricane Creek. Support stations will be manned at Ragtown Road, Shores Lake Road and at the Gas Pipeline.
You can help by volunteering as a Hike-Along Buddy, a Support Station Helper, and/or a Shuttle Driver.
