Recover from the hectic holidays in nature. We will start at Pedestal Rocks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27th. This trail is a little over 2-1/2 miles long and passes by one of the most geologically interesting areas in Arkansas. To get to Pedestal Rocks, take AR 16 to Pelsor, turn left, staying on Highway 16, and Pedestal Rocks is about 6 miles on your right. It’s about 2 hours from Fayetteville. This hike is rated easy. After this hike, we will drive to Jasper for lunch, then hike on Round Top Mountain. This hike is about 3 miles long and passes by the remains of a wrecked WWII bomber.
