Description: HIKE ON THE SCENIC WEST SLOPE TRAILS OF KESSLER MOUNTAIN, 5 miles on trail, rated medium, 350 elevation increase, 4 1/2 hours. Meet at 8:45 a.m. at Kessler Mountin TH. From I-49 Exit 61 take Cato Springs Road southwest 1/2 mile to crushed limestone County Road 200, turn right and go 1/2 mile to TH parking. This new 600 acre park has large scale grading operations on-going, so expect heavy dump truck traffic on the limestone road. Wear sturdy shoes or boots, bring water and snacks.
