Saturday, Dec 17, a 3.6 mile hike is scheduled for Round Top Mtn Loop trail, S of Jasper on Hwy 7. Trail offers scenic views of surrounding valleys and town of Jasper in addition to exploring the 1948 crash site of an Air Force bomber. Hike is rated moderate difficulty due to elevation. Fayetteville area hikers can meet up at 8:30 am at Elkins Harps Grocery near gas pumps for carpooling over to site. Hike begins from TH at 10:00 am. NO PETS PLEASE.
