The U.S. Forest Service will be conducting a prescribed burn that will close the trail from Stack Rock down to Dry Creek during the burn.  The exact date of this burn has not been set, but will occur sometime in March or April.  Unfortunately, an alternate route will not be available, other than a road walk down Searcy County 12 to Searcy County 14, then up to where the trail joins Searcy County 14 near mile marker 160; crossing Richland Creek twice.
