2025 OHTA Rendezvous

Friday through Sunday, April 25 thru 27, 2025

Reserved by OHTA for Camping:
– Group site 3
– Group site 4
– Group site 5
Folks can start pitching their tents on Friday at 1 p.m. (check-in time), and we’ll have to be packed up and out of the campsites by noon on Sunday (check-out time).

Pavilion is reserved for the entirety of Saturday, and that is where the evening dinner and annual meeting will be held

Those of you wanting to stay in something such as a trailer, camper, or RV, there is a main camping loop to accommodate you. Some of the sites in the loop are currently available to be reserved, and the rest can be secured only on a first-come basis.

If you’re wanting to attend but would prefer to stay in something other than a tent or camper, here are some lodging options located near Tyler Bend:
– Sky Hawk Ridge, St. Joe, AR
– Anna’s Guest House, Gilbert, AR
– Buffalo River Outfitters, St. Joe, AR
– Triple D Cabin Rental, St. Joe, AR (it’s right on Hwy 65 at the intersection of Hwy 65 and Hwy 333–the road that takes you down to Sky Hawk Ridge and Anna’s Guest House)
– Gilbertstore.com

Want breakfast nearby in the mornings? Check out Ferguson’s Country Store and Restaurant at the intersection of Hwy 65 and Hwy 333. OR Want to slip away and enjoy a good home-cooked meal indoors? Just south of St. Joe on Hwy 65 you’ll find Big Springs Trading Co.

Want to know what activities will be occurring during this year’s Rendezvous? That has yet to be decided, but there is a rumor circulating about a group of common adventurers shuttling over to Gilbert on Saturday morning and hiking back to Tyler Bend. Of course, the Buffalo River Trail/Ozark Highlands Trail (BRT/OHT) runs right through the Tyler Bend area, and there are hiking opportunities galore in that area if doing an individual or family hike is something you’d prefer.

Please let us know ASAP if you believe you’ll be attending the Saturday evening dinner. Doing so will help us figure out just how many folks we’ll be feeding! Do any of you want to get together and put on a chili cookoff for the Saturday evening meal? OHTA will reimburse you for the expense of the ingredients you plan to put into your pot! Just let us know, and we’ll help you organize it!
